Given the type of business you are starting an LLC isn’t going to be of any value to you unless you have employees.
An LLC won’t shield you from your personal actions, but it will shield you from unauthorized actions of your employees.
You may need licenses in the state your business is based in.
Hope this helps

You need an LLC. There are other options to consider like method of taxation, operating agreement, state of origination, business license, and others. I work with clients every week on LLC formation. Let me know if you have any questions.

Technically speaking, no. You can just start doing what you do and be considered a sole proprietorship. However, potential customers will have low confidence in you unless you actually establish a business. Also, you’ll be at risk if anyone should ever sue you, since they will be going after your personal bank account & other assets. Starting an LLC is always a good idea for the protective purposes. You might also want to get your company name trademarked so that nobody else will profit off of your business name or logo.

Yes – a DBA and LLC are your most basic needs. You will need these to open a separate bank account to manage your business income and expenditure efficiently. How are you planning to promote your business? It’s a misconception that you set up online and clients flock to you. You will also need to quickly become proficient in the intricacies of SEO and web promotion.
